A delectable full breakfast is served each morning, by the fire in winter and on the porch overlooking the garden in summer. Guests are welcome to relax in the parlor or the library, each of which has a fire going seasonally. Afternoon refreshments and evening sherry are served daily. 31 Old Beach Road, Newport, RI - From T.F. Green International Airport: Start out going South on Post Road/US-1 toward Fresno Road. Take the ramp toward I-95. Merge onto Airport Connector Road West. Merge onto I-95 South toward New York, and continue for approximately five miles. Merge onto RI-4 South, via Exit 9, toward Newport/South County. After about 10 miles, make a slight right turn onto Tower Hill Road/US-1 South. Merge onto RI-138 East toward the Jamestown and Newport Bridges (portions toll), and continue for nine miles. Take the RI-238 South ramp toward Scenic Newport. Turn right onto RI-138A/RI-238/JT Connell Highway. Continue to follow RI-138A/RI-238. Stay straight to go onto Farewell Street. Make a slight right turn onto Thames Street. Turn left onto Mill Street. Mill Street becomes Old Beach Road. Continue on Old Beach Road for 2/10 mile to the property.
